See below for more guest information regarding your stay. We hope this page will answer all your questions and will make you feel at home.

Pre arrival information

What is your estimated arrival time?

Please inform us at your earliest convenience of your arrival time. Check – In is from 16:00 daily. You can email us: stay@oceanservicedapts.com

ID and pre-auth required

In preparation for your stay, please can we request a copy of photo ID and for you to complete the pre-auth link sent so we can arrange your self check in.

What is the pre-auth for?

We take a £100 deposit per apartment for all bookings.

This is taken in the form of a credit pre-authorisation on your credit card.

How it works is, the £100 is ‘frozen’ in your account until after you have checked out. If our housekeeping manager reports back that the apartment has been left in a satisfactory condition AND you and your guests have not caused any inconvenience to staff/other guests then the £100 is ‘unfrozen’ in your account. It can can take 5 to 7 working days to release (international cards may take longer).

*We are also aware of Monzo cards taking up to 28 days to release the funds. Please note this is not something we can control and would encourage guests to use an alternative card where possible to avoid delays in getting this released back to you*

In the rare event that guests have damaged the apartment or caused problems for staff/other guests you will be contacted by management to rectify the issue. If the costs are less than £100 then the balance will be refunded, however should the costs be more than £100 you will be asked to pay this immediately.

Where do I get my keys?

See below instructions on where and how to check into your apartment. Please note the keysafe codes will be released at 15:00 everyday, unless you have requested an early check-in.

1) GO TO THE ENTRANCE OF BLOCK C
Please go to the entrance of BLOCK C, there you will see a box with several smaller boxes on the right-hand wall.

2) RETRIEVE YOUR KEYS
Please follow the instructions which you received from Keycafe
Please refer to email from Keycafe stating your apartment number or just check the key tag for your apartment number.
The black fob is to get access to the buildings. (entrance door)

Where do I park?

Please do not park on the road! The parking around the block is restricted.

Please park in the underground garage. You will receive a parking remote attached to your set of keys. Please note that to open the gate you need to push button A on the remote. To exit please just drive up to the gate as the sensor is located above the gate and needs to be activated by driving right up to the gate.

You can access the underground parking by going down the ramp
Please turn right and follow the arrows to your block, either Block B or Block C.
You can park in any of the spaces where there is an Ocean Apartments sign. Parking spaces are not allocated.

Directions to your apartment

Please refer to your key tag to see if you are staying in C or B block.

 

Staying in C Block?

The entrance to C block is where the key boxes are located. You can also access C Block from the underground parking.

To gain access to the building you need to swipe the black fob across the panel with the key symbol. This can be seen on the right-hand side of the main door to the entrance of the block in which you will be staying (please see the enclosed leaflet in the key safe).
You can take the lift to the appropriate floor as indicated on the wall inside the lift.

 

Staying in B Block?

The entrance to B block is on the other side of the building.

You can either walk around the building or if you are driving you can access B Block via the underground parking.

To gain access to the building you need to swipe the black fob across the panel with the key symbol. This can be seen on the left-hand side of the main door to the entrance of the block in which you will be staying (please see the enclosed leaflet in the key safe).
You can take the lift to the appropriate floor as indicated on the wall inside the lift.

We have created a QR Code for you to scan (located in the apartment) to get the digital version

with all the information you will need to make your stay even more enjoyable.

Internet information

We have teamed up with Hyperoptic and now offer Complimentary superfast fibre internet as standard in all apartments.

With download and upload speeds of up to 150 Mbps via a wired connection this has been a very welcome addition for both business and leisure guests alike.

The router is situated in the lounge and offers both wired and wireless access. Login details are situated in the sign as you enter the apartment as well as on the router. If you require an ethernet cable please contact the office and we will provide one for you.

What time do I need to check-out?

Our check out time is 10:00am

Can I check out a bit later?

Want to check-out a bit later? Please contact us to arrange a later check-out time, note this is subject to availability and can only be confirmed with our reservations team.

The cost for a late check-out is:
– £10 per hour, check out any time until 12pm
– £25 in total, CHECK OUT ANY TIME UNTIL 2PM!
Unauthorised late check out will result in further charges, £20 per hour

Where do I drop the keys?

For key drop off, please go back to the entrance of Block C where you have collected the keys from on your day of arrival.
Once you are there, please follow the procedures displayed on the wall above the keycafe box.
