Remembering those who serve and protect our great nation.
In 1919 King George V dedicated to the observance of members of the armed forces who were killed during World War I. The 11th of November has now become Remembrance Day in Commonwealth countries to remember the members of their armed forces who have died while on duty during World War I and all following battles. Edinburgh Remembrance Day is a time to show our respect and thanks to those who have so bravely fought for us.
Poppies are traditionally worn to show respect to our troops, we hope that all guests will bear a poppy this year. At this time we would like to pay special respect to soldiers that are currently servicing all around the world to ensure that we live in a safe world.
